My mum was a nerd before the term existed. She loved movies and art and passed that on to me. My cousin Ronald was likewise obsessed. I guess it was just in our genes to love films and TV and comics and toys and games and music and all that other wonderful stuff.
I’ve been collecting since I was six years old, so I guess that means I’ve been acquiring treasures for 47 years! Yet I still get excited when the postman arrives with a parcel for me, or I’m out and about and have time to visit my favourite comic shops. Full disclosure: I ALWAYS make time.
Badges were my earliest obsession, and I’ve since expanded my interests to include EVERYTHING ELSE: toys and comics, movies and soundtracks, stickers and magnets, animation art, books and props, plus everything else that catches my eye.
Star Wars being my main focus, most notably Darth Vaders, but really there's a ton of stuff I love, so my collection is super broad: sci fi and horror, monsters, aliens and robots, superhero stuff and lots more besides.
